اقترب آرسنال الإنجليزي من حسم صفقة اللاعب توماس بارتي من صفوف أتلتيكو مدريد الإسباني، في موسم الانتقالات الصيفي الحالي.

ويُعد بارتي هدفًا طويل الأمد بالنسبة لـ آرسنال، حيث حاول النادي ضمه في مواسم انتقالية سابقة.

ورفض أتلتيكو مدريد الاستغناء عن خدمات بارتي هذا الصيف، ولكن الأمور تغيرت في اليوم الأخير من الميركاتو الصيفي.

وأبلغ بارتي مسؤولي أتلتيكو مدريد صباح اليوم برغبته في الرحيل عن النادي الإسباني والانضمام إلى آرسنال (لمطالعة التفاصيل من هنا).

وحسب شبكة “سكاي سبورتس” العالمية، فإن بارتي في طريقه الآن من إسبانيا إلى إنجلترا لاتمام صفقة انتقاله إلى آرسنال.

وأوضحت إنه من المتوقع اتمام الصفقة في اللحظات الأخيرة من سوق الانتقالات الصيفي مساء اليوم الاثنين، حيث سيوقع اللاعب الغاني عقوده بشكل رسمي.

ضاعف فريق أستون فيلا تقدمه أمام ليفربول، في المباراة الجارية بينهما حاليًا، في الجولة الرابعة من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

ويستضيف ملعب فيلا بارك مباراة الفريقين، في ختام منافسات الجولة.

وتمكن أولي واتكينز من تسجيل الهدف الثاني لصالح أستون فيلا في الدقيقة 22، حيث جاء الهدف بعد انطلاقة رائعة من واتكينز الذي انطلق من الجهة اليمنى حتى وصل منطقة الجزاء، وراوغ جو جوميز وسدد كرة رائعة “R2” في شباك الحارس أدريان. هدف أستون فيلا الثاني أمام ليفربول

وكان واتكينز قد سجل هدف التقدم في الدقيقة 4.

Arsenal are willing to include players in a potential deal for Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, per The Sun.

The Gunners are convinced about the prospect of signing the 21-year-old this summer and are willing to sweeten any deal for the Eagles.

What’s the word?

Arsenal, per the report, have scouted Wan-Bissaka extensively and believe that he is an ideal signing under Unai Emery’s management at the Emirates.

However, Palace are said to be keen to recoup £40million for a player who has made his breakthrough under Roy Hodgson this season.

Wan-Bissaka has made 27 Premier League appearances in 2018-19, impressing with his defensive assiduousness and explosive pace.

And The Sun claim Arsenal will try to lower the price of any deal by offering either Reiss Nelson, who is currently on loan at Hoffenheim or Ainsley Maitland-Niles to Palace plus cash.

Bayern Munich are also credited with an interest in Wan-Bissaka but their interest is not said to be as serious as Arsenal’s.

An embarrassing situation

Arsenal used to be able to afford to buy the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez outright.

Now they are facing up to the prospect of having to send promising young players to Crystal Palace in return for a right-back.

The budgetary situation at the Emirates is a disgrace, particularly with fans paying some of the highest ticket prices in the land.

It means Emery’s team are unlikely to receive any major upgrades this summer, either, despite the prospect of qualifying for the Champions League.

Wan-Bissaka would surely be a fine addition to the club’s ranks but the fact that they cannot afford him is despicable.

Supporters and staff alike should be embarrassed at how far Arsenal have fallen.

This’ll be music to Tottenham fans’ ears! Christian Eriksen seems excited about the long-awaited move to his team’s new home according to Danish outlet Ekstra Bladet, and that could be key to keeping their star midfielder in summer.

He said: “We have been waiting for a while at the stadium after all, so it will be great to get back to the stadium that will be our home for the next many years” (Quotes sourced from Football London). That doesn’t sound like the voice of a man who can’t wait to find the exit door in summer, so we might just see the Dane sign a new deal after all.

Nobody, apart from Spurs fans, would blame the Dane for moving to a club guaranteed success in the coming years (he’s been linked with Real Madrid by AS after all), not least because he’s 27-years-old and is hitting his prime. He needs to be winning trophies right now, before other, younger midfielders are snapped up by Europe’s greatest and he misses his opportunity.

However, from the interview, it’s clear to see Erikson believes Spurs are capable of being one of those elite sides in Europe and if that is the case, there’d be no reason to leave. The new stadium provides that clear vision of progression that the last few years under Mauricio Pochettino, on the field, just haven’t. It could mean more than just a shiny new stadium and some NFL games.

To leave now would be to abandon the project he’s been moulding since joining in 2013, and at the most pivotal point too. The new stadium is the penultimate piece to the puzzle, with the final one being silverware. The infrastructure is nearly ready, and the squad just need a few additions to build depth, then the team can really push for trophies.

It’s not hard to imagine that this season would probably have been the 27-year-old’s last if the new stadium wasn’t in the pipeline, but now it’s less than a month away from opening, it might just be the boost required to tie down arguably Spurs’ top talent.

وتابع: “لقد نجح ميتلاند-نايلز في إيقاف خطورة محمد صلاح عندما واجه آرسنال ليفربول، وساعد فريقه في الفوز على مانشستر سيتي وتشيلسي للفوز بكأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي على ملعب ويمبلي”.

وأضاف في النهاية: “اعتقد أن إينسلي لاعب المباريات الكبرى، يجيد التحكم في الكرة ولا يمانع في استخدام قدمه اليسرى ويساهم في النواحي الدفاعية، لذلك لا أرى أي مشكلة في مشاركته على الجانب الأيسر مع إنجلترا”.

وقال كلوب عن صلاح في تصريحات على هامش المؤتمر الصحفي الخاص بديربي الميرسيسايد ضد إيفرتون: “أنا مُعجب للغاية بـ صلاح، لقد سجّل هدفين أمام أستون فيلا، ولكن يجب أيضًا أنّ يُسجّل في الانتصارات”.

وأضاف: “محمد صلاح بشكل عام جيد جداً حتى الآن، مثالي وساهم بجميع الهجمات، إنه خيار خطيرًا للغاية على الخصم ولديه قدرة على التسديد بطريقة مميزة”.

وأتم تصريحاته قائلًا: “كل اللاعبين ومن بينهم صلاح بكل تأكيد، هم مزيج من الموهبة والعمل فبدون التدرب لن يكون لديك أدنى فرصة، مهارات صلاح مميزة لكن بدون أسلوبه المعتاد والتزامه لما أصبح اللاعب الذي هو عليه اليوم”.

This summer is looking to be a big one for West Ham, and rumours of who Manuel Pellegrini is eyeing up are starting to begin.

From Maxi Gomez to Guillermo Maripan, big names with big price tags are all being linked with a move to east London this summer, but amongst all the names and price tags stands a player who West Ham fans might remember.

According to The Sun on Sunday (31/3; page 59, via HITC), former Manchester United right-back Rafael is on Pellegrini’s radar with the Brazilian defender’s contract with Lyon set to expire at the end of this season.

The 28-year-old would be open to a move back to England per the report, and with his experience and achievements in the Premier League already well known by fans, Rafael could be the ideal signing for West Ham this summer and a perfect replacement for Pablo Zabaleta.

The veteran Argentine defender, who is also out of contract this summer, has been a good servant for the Hammers since his move to the club in 2017, but now entering his mid-thirties and looking slower by the game, it seems like Pellegrini will be looking for a new right-back this summer.

With Ryan Fredericks being unimpressive at best for West Ham since his move from London rivals Fulham, the Hammers will likely be more motivated to sign a new starting right-back, and Rafael could be that man.

At 28, the Brazilian is entering the prime years of his career. A mixed time in France that has this season seen Rafael been in and out of the Lyon side means it is likely the defender won’t be offered a new deal, giving West Ham the perfect opportunity to pick up an experienced defender in a position they need for free.

Although the Brazilian was axed by Louis van Gaal at United, Rafael is a player who is still loved by the fans and was a consistent performer for the Red Devils, especially in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season at the club.

In Rafael – a three-time winner of the Premier League  – West Ham have an experienced and talented player who they can sign for free to fill a position that not only needs improving but also needs getting younger, and the Lyon defender is just the man for the job.
