Consolidado no G6 após o empate em 0 a 0 com o Flamengo, neste sábado, o Botafogo terá um importante desfalque para o próximo duelo. Isso porque, Sassá levou o terceiro cartão amarelo e está suspenso da partida contra a Chapecoense, no dia 16.

Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, former Leeds United midfielder Carlton Palmer believes Marcelo Bielsa would leave the Whites for Tottenham if the opportunity arose.

This comes after ex-Spurs star Jamie O’Hara tipped Bielsa, on talkSPORT, to replace Mourinho at the north London club following the Portuguese coach’s recent sacking.

RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann was reported to be Tottenham’s No.1 choice for the dugout, but the German now has a deal in place to take him to Bayern Munich in the summer.

It leaves Tottenham now needing to look elsewhere and, should their search take them to Bielsa, Palmer thinks the 65-year-old would find it hard to say no to their advances.

Responding to O’Hara’s take, the ex-Sheffield Wednesday player told FFC in an exclusive interview:

“You want to better yourself. You want to get the top jobs, just like players want to go to top clubs, so it’d be a fantastic opportunity for him.

“If Spurs come knocking, that’s a different ball game. That’s a great career opportunity for him. I’d be very surprised if Tottenham came knocking and he wasn’t prepared to go.”

At this moment of time, based on reports, Tottenham seem to be looking at the likes of Ajax manager Erik ten Hag and England boss Gareth Southgate, so Leeds supporters can probably breathe easy.

Cuca espera contar com zagueiro Yerry Mina no jogo contra o Atlético-MG, na quinta-feira da semana que vem, no Independência. O jogador do Palmeiras lesionou a coxa esquerda a serviço da seleção colombiana, durante o duelo com o Chile, nesta quinta, pelas Eliminatórias. O problema, segundo o técnico, não é grave.

– Tenho boas novidades. Ontem, umas 2h, recebi mensagem do próprio Mina, disse que tem uma contratura pequena. Vai ficar fora do jogo com a Argentina (terça-feira) e vai se recuperar para jogar quinta. Domingo à noite ele chega aqui – disse Cuca.

Apesar do otimismo do treinador, a presença de Mina no jogo em Belo Horizonte vai depender da evolução do tratamento. Se ele for descartado, quem assume a vaga ao lado de Vitor Hugo é Edu Dracena.

Mina já havia lesionado a coxa esquerda antes, no jogo contra o Santos, ainda no primeiro turno do Brasileirão. Naquela ocasião, o problema foi bem mais grave e tirou o defensor da Olimpíada. A lesão de agora não tem relação com a antiga, que ocorreu na parte anterior da coxa, e não na posterior.

أعلن رئيس الاتحاد البولندي لكرة القدم، سيزاري كوليسزا، عن رفض مواجهة روسيا في مباراة نصف نهائي ملحق تصفيات قارة أوروبا المؤهلة إلى بطولة كأس العالم 2022.

ويأتي رفض بولندا بسبب العدوان الذي تشنه روسيا على أوكرانيا منذ يوم الخميس الماضي، ودمرت أكثر من مدينة مع احتلال البعض منها بالدبابات وأفراد الجيش.

وستتقابل روسيا وبولندا في نصف نهائي المسار الثاني من ملحق التصفيات المؤهلة إلى كأس العالم في قطر 2022 يوم 24 مارس المقبل.

وغرد رئيس الاتحاد البولندي عبر حسابه الرسمي على “تويتر”، وكتب: “لا مزيد من الكلمات، حان وقت العمل”.

وتابع: “بسبب تصاعد عدوان روسيا الاتحادية على أوكرانيا، لا ينوي منتخب بولندا خوض مباراة ضد روسيا في تصفيات كأس العالم 2022”.

وأضاف: “هذا هو القرار الصحيح والوحيد، نحن نجري محادثات مع الاتحادات لإعلان موقفنا المشترك إلى الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا)”.

واتفق مهاجم منتخب بولندا وهداف الدوري الألماني، روبرت ليفاندوفسكي، مع ما قاله رئيس اتحاد الكرة في بلده وقال: “القرار الصائب، لا أستطيع أن أتخيل أن ألعب مباراة مع منتخب روسيا في ظل موقفه الحالي باستمرار العدوان المسلح على أوكرانيا”.

وأتم: “لاعبو كرة القدم والمشجعون الروس ليسوا مسئولين عما يحدث، لكن لا يمكننا التظاهر بعدم حدوث أي شيء”.

Plenty of Crystal Palace fans have been reacting to an update regarding reported managerial target Paulo Fonseca.

Reports towards the end of April suggested that the Eagles held a ‘direct’ conversation with the Italian over potentially replacing Roy Hodgson.

It’s since been confirmed that Fonseca will leave his position as manager of AS Roma at the end of the season, with former Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho set to take over.

That leaves Fonseca free to possibly move to Selhurst Park, however, in a report from Inside Futbol, it doesn’t seem as if a move to London is on the cards.

They shared comments from Fonseca, with the 48-year-old confirming he would like to continue in Italy beyond the end of the current campaign.

In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, Wolves Hall of Famer, Steve Bull, has urged his former side to back Nuno Espirito Santo this summer as he has to improve the squad and replace players.

Nuno has had to try and fill the void left by Diogo Jota last summer without signing a ready-made replacement, however Pedro Neto did provide glimpses of brilliance before his season-ending injury.

Last summer, Wolves made several big-money signings which included Fabio Silva and Nelson Semedo, however, neither have been able to take to the Premier League as smoothly as Nuno would have liked.

Speaking on why Wolves have to back Nuno this summer and how they still have to replace players that left last summer, Bull exclusively told FFC:

“We’ve had a shocker this year, but if that means coming 13th or 14th I’ll take that every season. I think the club have got to back him as we still haven’t replaced the likes of Doherty and Jota who left last summer, and Vinagre will leave this summer as well.

“I think they’re going to have to look deep in the market but we have a full pre-season as we’re not in the Europa League so they can start planning now. I’m hopeful they will back him and see what he can do with some money.”

Wolves will be hoping that when Raul Jimenez returns next season from his fractured skull they will be much more of a threat in the final third as they have managed to score just 35 goals in the league.

Jimenez has been out since November last year but he still remains their joint-third top scorer with three goals, only behind Neto, Ruben Neves and Silva.

وأوضحت الصحيفة أن أنشيلوتي لا يريد المخاطرة بـ ألابا، ويأمل أن يكون النمساوي جاهزًا تمامًا لمباراة الإياب ضد باريس سان جيرمان، بدوري أبطال أوروبا.

A Polícia Militar entrou em confronto com torcedores do Palmeiras durante o primeiro tempo do jogo contra a Chapecoense, neste domingo. A confusão ocorreu na parte de fora do Allianz Parque, onde muitas pessoas se reuniram para acompanhar a partida em bares. A reportagem do LANCE! visualizou três pessoas sendo carregadas para dentro da arena para receber atendimento médico: uma menina e duas mulheres.

Os relatos de quem presenciou a confusão dão conta de que ela começou próxima da esquina da Rua Caraíbas com a Rua Venâncio Aires. Foi nessa região que os policiais começaram a usar bombas de efeito moral para dispersar torcedores, que reagiram com rojões e garrafas.

A situação foi normalizada um pouco antes do gol de Fabiano, que abriu o placar. Não há relatos de pessoas detidas. Durante a confusão, policiais se postaram em frente ao portão do estádio e impediram quem estava lá dentro de sair.

O pré-jogo nas imediações do Allianz Parque foi mais tenso que o normal. Com vários ônibus e três caminhões do Choque, a Polícia Militar estava em grande número no local. Mais uma vez, o acesso às ruas mais próximas da arena antes do apito inicial foi restrito a quem tem ingresso.

O cerco começou cedo. Por volta das 10h, a PM solicitou que os torcedores que já se concentravam na Rua Caraíbas fossem para a área externa ao bloqueio para que se verificasse se estavam com ingressos. Muitos ficaram irritados com a medida. Por volta das 14h, a Rua Caraíbas estava vazia dentro do bloqueio e completamente tomada fora dele. Às 15h, já havia torcedores lotando todos os cantos possíveis.

Um pouco antes do começo do jogo, filas gigantes se formaram nos acessos à Rua Palestra Itália. Houve relatos de que a espera para a verificação chegou a uma hora. Diante da aglomeração, o bloqueio foi desfeito, o que permitiu que muitos torcedores assistissem ao jogo em bares.
