وقال صلاح خلال تصريحات لبرنامج “الماتش” على قناة “صدى البلد”: “اللعب في المقاولون العرب يعطي ولاء وانتماء لكل من يتواجد في النادي، والنني ومحمد صلاح لم يفوتا فرصة إلا وتواجدا مع فرق الناشئين بالمقاولون ونحن نسعد بهما جدًا”.

وأضاف: “وجود محمد النني في المقاولون العرب في آخر إجازة أسعدنا جدًا، وكانت فرصة أن يتقابل مع الفريق الأول والناشئين، وكان حقه علينا أن نعطي له العضوية الفخرية مدى الحياة”.

وأكمل: “ما أسعدنا أكثر أن محمد النني وعدنا أنه سيختم مشواره الكروي في المقاولون العرب”.

وأتم: “زيارة محمد النني للفريق الأول ستعطي دفعة معنوية للمباريات المقبلة بالدوري، ونحتاج إلى هذه الدفعة لكي نحسن من صورة الفريق”.

Uma das principais novidades do treino desta quinta foi a participação de Edenílson na lateral-direita. Marcelo Cirino e Alex Santana também se destacaram na atividade.

Recuperado de dores no tendão do pé direito, o atacante realizou seus primeiros movimentos com bola desde a partida contra o Palmeiras, pela Copa do Brasil. O volante também realizou seu primeiro treino junto ao restante do time, após o fim de seu contrato de empréstimo com o Paraná, que foi antecipado para que retornasse ao Colorado.

Quem desfalcou o treino foi Víctor Cuesta, por conta de um desconforto muscular na coxa esquerda. No esquema 4-2-3-1, Guto Ferreira contou com os seguintes jogadores: Danilo Fernandes; Edenílson, Léo Ortiz, Danilo Silva e Uendel; Rodrigo Dourado, Fabinho, Carlos, D’Alessandro e William Pottker; Nico López.

O treino desta tarde foi dividido em duas partes. A primeira foi em um exercídio de dois toques em campo reduzido, quando o técnico orientou jogadas pelas laterais do campo, com cruzamento dos dos lados e contando com Edenílson na direita. Ficaram de fora os jogadores que estiveram em campo contra o Figueirense.

Após a primeira parte, o comandante conversou com os jogadores que constituem a possível formação titular e orientou um ensaio de jogadas com ajustes, enquanto os outros atletas jogavam em campo reduzido.

O último treino antes de confirmar a escalação titular será realizado na tarde desta sexta-feira. O Inter se prepara para receber o Náutico no Beira Rio, às 16h30 deste sábado. A partida é válida pela sexta rodada do Brasileirão Série B.

David Norris is excited by the prospect of Leeds United completing the signing of Daniel James before the transfer deadline passes.

Leeds chief Marcelo Bielsa has been a long-term admirer of James and he came close to joining from Swansea City in 2019.

Ex-Whites midfielder Norris hopes the deal gets over the line this time around.

He exclusively told The Transfer Tavern: “He would absolutely be a good addition. I think he’s done really well over the last few years.

“I like him and think he would be a good fit for Leeds. He works hard, grafts and we saw what he was like for his national team at Euro 2020 as well.

“He would be a great fit and we know Leeds like him so, if there is a chance of getting the deal done, definitely do it.”

Bangladesh came close to clinching their first Test victory against New Zealand but, despite being in control for the majority of the match, the hosts slipped to defeat by three wickets in Chittagong. Mohammad Ashraful, the Bangladesh captain, said that his team played “really well” but added that New Zealand’s ability to avoid their first-innings mistakes made the difference during their chase of 317.”We had a pretty good chance of winning and, on an individual level, I thought Shakib Al Hasan bowled and batted wonderfully well, Mushfiqur Rahim made runs in both innings and Tamim Iqbal got starts in both innings,” Ashraful said. “The difference between the two sides was Daniel Vettori who was brilliant with the bat and ball. Also they [New Zealand] planned their second innings really well and did not repeat the mistakes they did in the first innings.”Unlike his counterpart Vettori, who took nine wickets and scored two vital half-centuries, Ashraful had a poor match, scoring 2 and 0, and fell to Vettori in both innings. “I have played match-winning knocks in most of Bangladesh’s big wins in one-day cricket but it hasn’t happened for me in Tests yet. I tried my best but wasn’t successful,” Ashraful said. “There is another Test in this series and I will continue to try and hopefully it will happen in the future.New Zealand began the day needing 172 to win with eight wickets in hand. At one stage they needed 101 with only five wickets remaining but Vettori steered his team home with a calm 76. Jamie Siddons, the Bangladesh coach, felt that the visitors had “learned their lessons pretty well” after being dismissed for 171 in the first innings.”They [New Zealand] planned well, didn’t play any unnecessary shots and made us [work] for every wicket,” Siddons said. “They batted with discipline and didn’t give us any chances. Hopefully our guys can learn a bit from that, especially our top-order.”Having outbatted them and bowled so well in the first innings makes me happy. Everything’s looking good with young guys like Mehrab [Hossain jr] and Shakib, and we’ll get Ashraful and Zunaed (Siddique) to play well. I need all the guys to play well in the one game but at the moment we are a little inconsistent.”Siddons praised left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak’s performance in the second innings. Razzak bowled 50 overs and took 3 for 93. “He tied up an end beautifully for us and bowled at two an over,” Siddons said. “He stretched the game out which you have to do when you have 300 on the board. He made them work very hard for their runs. He got a couple of wickets but we didn’t quite get enough from the other end.”Siddons hoped that his team would be able to catch New Zealand “on the hop” in Dhaka where the pitch “stays low and plays tricks”. An update has emerged on Liverpool defender Nathaniel Phillips regarding the club’s thoughts on his future ahead of tonight’s transfer deadline.

What’s the talk?

According to James Pearce of The Athletic, Jurgen Klopp’s side are expecting offers to come in for the centre-back before the window slams shut at 11pm.

The report claims that the Reds value Phillips at £12m and would be willing to keep him at the club if they do not receive what they deem to be a reasonable bid.

Time’s up

Michael Edwards must capitalise on this expected interest from clubs in Phillips’ services by accepting an offer for the defender. The 24-year-old should be commended for the role he played during Liverpool’s injury crisis last season, but time is now up for the centre-back at Anfield and moving him on is the best solution for all parties involved.

Phillips has not made a Premier League matchday squad as of yet, with Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate and Joe Gomez all ahead of him in the pecking order as it stands. It would be incredibly unlucky for the Reds to go through another period of having their three first-choice defenders out for the majority of the season as they had last term, which means that Phillips may not be needed at all.

Edwards brought Konate in from RB Leipzig for a reported fee of £36m earlier this summer, pushing Phillips further down in Klopp’s thinking. This has left him on the fringes, as shown by his lack of involvement in the 2021/22 Premier League so far, which is why he must be sold before 11pm if a decent offer comes Liverpool’s way.

If any Premier League or European club comes in with a bid of around £10m or higher, then Edwards must take the money. It would add more transfer funds to the kitty ahead of the January transfer window or next summer while also allowing Phillips to go and play regular football elsewhere which he seems unlikely to get on Merseyside.

The 24-year-old stepped in last season and averaged an impressive WhoScored rating of 7.29 in 17 Premier League appearances for Klopp’s side. This shows that he was able to perform when called upon and can be a reliable option, but there is little point in keeping him if he is not even making the bench when Liverpool could bring in a good fee for his services. This is why Edwards must cash in on him and allow him to depart Anfield in the next few hours.

كشفت تقارير سعودية عن تلقي عبد الرحمن غريب لاعب الأهلي، عروضًا من ناديي الهلال والاتحاد لرحيله عن قلعة الكؤوس.

وهبط النادي الأهلي لأول مرة في تاريخه، إلى دور الدرجة الأولى “يلو”، بعدما أنهى الموسم في المركز الخامس عشر برصيد 32 نقطة.

ووفقًا لموقع “الكأس السعودي” فإن نادي الاتحاد يتفاوض مع وكيل عبد الرحمن غريب، لضمه في الفترة القادمة.

وأوضح: “إدارة الأهلي ترغب في انتقال اللاعب على سبيل  الإعارة لمدة موسم فقط وليس انتقال كامل”.

وأردف: “هناك اتصالات من نادي  الهلال، لمعرفة رغبة اللاعب في الانتقال للنادي، حيث تلقى اتصالا من أحد الأشخاص من النادي وقدم إليه عرضًا بمبلغ 8 ملايين ريال للموسم الواحد مقابل شراء عقده من الأهلي”.

جدير بالذكر أن الأهلي كان قد جدد عقد عبد الرحمن غريب حتى عام 2025، في يناير الماضي.

Liverpool have suffered an injury blow ahead of their trip to Leeds United next weekend after Takumi Minamino picked up a knock while on national team duty.

The Japan international was forced to withdraw from the squad after picking up an injury and won’t be able to feature in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier against China.

What’s the word?

Although the 26-year-old was called up by Hajime Moriyasu last week, he didn’t feature in his nation’s 1-0 defeat to Oman on Thursday.

“Midfielder Takumi Minamino (Liverpool FC) has been withdrawn from the team due to an injury at SAMURAI BLUE, which is active for the Asian final qualifying (Road to Qatar) China national team match,” read a statement from the Japan FA (as relayed by the Liverpool Echo).

It continued: “We will inform you of additional convened players to replace Minamino as soon as they are decided.”

Jurgen Klopp will be gutted

Despite Minamino not playing a single minute of Liverpool’s 2021/22 campaign so far, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is still likely to be gutted to learn of the 26-year-old’s recent setback.

The former RB Salzburg forward is set to join Roberto Firmino on the treatment table after the 29-year-old was forced off the field against Chelsea in the first half last weekend.

That leaves just the out-of-form Divock Origi as backup to a front three of Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane, meaning that Klopp is desperately short of options in the final third of the pitch.

The Merseysiders will be hoping to maintain their solid start to the new campaign when they travel to Elland Road to face Leeds following the international break, but they’ll have to do so without a selection of their forward players. News of Minamino’s injury will not amuse his club manager.
