Dinesh Chandimal has been recalled to Sri Lanka’s Test squad for the series against Pakistan in the UAE and is one of four wicketkeeper-batsmen in the 16-man party. Middle-order batsman Thilan Samaraweera, 34, and spinner Ajantha Mendis are the major omissions from the squad that lost 1-0 to Australia at home, while legspinner Seekkuge Prasanna was also left out.”Thilan will not come into the reckoning in our long term plans,” Duleep Mendis, the chairman of selectors, said. “We intend giving youngsters an opportunity while the seniors are around. He might be considered on a short-term basis.”Apart from Chandimal, who was part of the Test squad in England this summer but did not debut, fast bowler Nuwan Pradeep and another wicketkeeper-batsman Kaushal Silva were the two other uncapped players called into the side. Offspinner Harbhajan Singh, who has been dropped from the India team for the first two ODIs of the five-match home series against England, has been named the captain of the India Green squad for the NKP Salve Challenger Trophy. وأضاف: “لا تريد طرح الأمر والتحدث عنه أيضًا، لقد كنت في الجانب الآخر من قبل، لقد خسرت نهائيات أخرى خسرت نهائي 2014 ولم أرغب في معرفة أي شيء عنه ولا شيء له علاقة بكأس العالم في ذلك الوقت، ولهذا السبب لا أريد التحدث عنها أيضًا”.

كشفت تقارير صحفية عن موقف الفرنسي كيليان مبابي من اللحاق بمباراة فريقه باريس سان جيرمان أمام بايرن ميونخ الألماني في دوري أبطال أوروبا.
ويلتقي باريس سان جيرمان وبايرن ميونخ في دور الـ16 بمنافسات دوري أبطال أوروبا لموسم 2022-2023، وتلعب مباراة الذهاب يوم الثلاثاء المقبل.
وهناك شك حول فرص لحاق مبابي بالمباراة، بعد تعرضه للإصابة في مباراة فريقه أمام مونبلييه، وأعلن باريس سان جيرمان غيابه لثلاثة أسابيع.
لكن باريس سان جيرمان لم يفقد أمل لحاق مبابي بالمباراة وجاهزيته للمشاركة أمام بايرن ميونخ.
وفقًا لصحيفة “بيلد” الألمانية، فإن باريس سان جيرمان سيفعل كل ما في وسعه من أجل مشاركة كيليان مبابي في مباراة ايرن ميونخ.
وأوضح التقرير أن باريس سان جيرمان يأمل في أن يكون المهاجم البالغ من العمر 24 عامًا متواجدًا على الأقل على مقاعد البدلاء، ولن يتم استبعاده من قائمة المباراة.

United Bank asked Peshawar to bat and then bowled them out for 260, before their openers, Ali Asad and Saeed Mutabbir, took them to 63 for 0 at stumps. That Peshawar managed to get past 250 was in main due to an unbeaten century from their captain Akbar Badshah. Badshah hit 103, a knock studded with 18 fours and a six. Most of the damage with the ball was done by fast bowlers Shabbir Ahmed and Tahir Mughal, who picked up eight wickets between them.

Waqas was more restrained, needing 68 balls to get to 45, as the pair took their team to 189 for 4, already a lead of 62.Behram Khan and Mohammad Hasan made unbeaten hundreds to take Karachi Whites to a position of strength against Lahore Shalimar at the National Bank of Pakistan Sports Complex in Karachi.
